Hut, Matukituki Valley Track

In the towns around the park a full range of accommodation options are available, from serviced campgrounds to luxury lodges.

Within the park there are numerous backcountry huts and three New Zealand Alpine Club huts. Be aware that the Routeburn Track is a Great Walk and requires bookings during the summer season..

There are established camping areas on many tracks.
